Alcatel Intros One Touch Phone

PARIS -- Alcatel has launched the One TouchTM 535, a multimedia mobile phone with a large colour screen. Bringing users the latest in sound, image, message, internet and gaming technology, the One TouchTM 535 takes full advantage of the very latest useful multimedia technology available. The terminal also boasts a number of innovative, fun features, with the spotlight on personalisation. The phone is intuitive yet easy to use and makes MMS as easy to use as SMS.

Luminous - With a curvy, modern design, the terminal comes in three metallic colours: red, blue and grey. The One TouchTM 535 arguably has the best screen in its category: it is wide (33 x 33mm), sharp (128 x 128 pixels) and has 4096 luminous colours, achieving a high quality of resolution. When in use, every key on the keyboard is fully backlit with a white light. The clarity and readability of the screen and keyboard will be appreciated whether you are using the phone in the pitch dark or bright daylight.

Personalisation - Maximising the visual experience, Alcatel has designed eye-catching and useful content. The multimedia album includes a large number of pre-installed screen backgrounds and there is an extended memory to download personal photos. A particularly innovative feature of this mobile is the choice of four predefined moods (screen background, window colours and sounds) to match your personality: "Lady" - elegance personified, "groovy" - a more psychedelic atmosphere, "techno" - trendy or "One Touch", which is more discreet. Another enhancement - photos can be modified to suit your individual taste via an array of frames and amusing personal touches! The One TouchTM 535 comes with PC Suite, a user-friendly programme to be installed on your computer, which enables you to take colour personalisation one step further and manage your content (diary, address book, etc.). The terminal comes with the latest games (with space provided for downloads), making the most of polyphonic sound (up to 60 instruments) and the ever-handy vibrator.

Intuitive - With the MMS (Multimedia Message Service) is easy to use and practical; only taking two clicks to start your composition. All your messages, MMS and SMS alike, are stored in the same box. In addition, Alcatel has brought out a new option - immediate access to Vox MMS, a "voice SMS": with this shortcut you can record an immediate "voice memo" and then send your voice messages to one or several recipients a handy tool for romantic musings, asking favours or seeking forgiveness when you'd rather not talk directly.

The One TouchTM 535 also has? - A second loud speaker at the back of the phone for better polyphonic sound and greater listening quality in hands-free mode; an infrared connection to update the diary and address book on your PC or PDA and the multidirectional "One Touch ?" key for continued simple, intuitive browsing at your fingertips.
